Ask anyone who works with a chaplain, they’ll have difficulty saying what a chaplain does. 🙂

That’s why i liked this simple way of putting it: “We listen. We counsel. We care.”

What is the value of listening, counseling and caring in the business day?

  • Listening helps one to understand the other person’s needs, so it’s a key business skill.
  • Counseling helps the other person access or connect with what they need. Its empowering.
  • Caring communicates connection and support, healing qualities that create trusting relationships – the foundation for success.
